More About Me

A little about me

After exploring theatre and music in college, I found myself unexpectedly drawn to the world of real estate. My husband, Mike, an educator, and I embarked on a whirlwind of moves due to job changes, each relocation offering new opportunities to remodel and reimagine our living spaces. From Bloomington to Homer Glen, each house we transformed added another layer of experience and expertise to our journey.

In 2001, I took a leap into the realm of real estate while working for a real estate attorney, immersing myself in contracts and closings. Despite facing the challenges of the Great Recession, I got my Illinois real estate license in 2008 and faced head-on, the opportunity to guide clients through the turbulent market. With each obstacle, I grew more resilient and determined, fueled by a passion to make a difference.

Balancing a career with motherhood, I wore many hats, including managing a team of agents and volunteering in the community. Yet, amidst the chaos, my dedication to real estate remained unwavering. Like my father before me, I viewed each transaction as an opportunity to impact lives positively.

Alongside my journey, I've pursued additional qualifications to better serve my clients. As a Licensed Managing Broker and a Certified Staging Consultant, I bring a unique blend of expertise and creativity to every interaction. I'm also licensed in Indiana, expanding my reach and capabilities beyond state lines. Currently, I'm diligently working towards earning my Seniors Real Estate Specialist® designation, recognizing the importance of specialized knowledge in serving the senior community.

Over the years, I've honed my skills and built a reputation as a trusted advisor. Every client, to me, is more than just a transaction-they're a vital part of my journey. As I continue to evolve, both personally and professionally, I remain committed to creating value and making a positive impact.

My story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the rewards of following your passion. In real estate, as in life, it's not just about buying and selling houses; it's about building relationships and leaving a lasting impression.

So here's to the next chapter, filled with new opportunities and endless possibilities. With gratitude for the journey so far, I eagerly anticipate what lies ahead, knowing that the best is yet to come.
